Kahla

The book burning in Kahla took place on the 5th of August as part of a public festivity on the sports ground ("Wehrsportplatz") behind the building of the local marksmen's club ("Schützenverein") , nowadays likely the location of the public swimming pool. Konrad Studentkowsky spoke on behalf of the Hitler Youth.
