Haslach im Kinzigtal

The Haslach book burning also took place as part of the "Battle Week Against Dirty and Trash Literature". On June 24, Hitler Youth and BDM threw the books onto the pyre at the sports field during a midsummer celebration. In 1944 a satellite camp of the Natzweiler-Struthof concentration camp was built there.
