Dresden - Große Meißner Straße

On March 7, 1933, SA teams ransacked the People's Book Store ("Volksbuchhandlung") on the Grosse Meissner Strasse and burned their "loot" on the street. The bookseller was probably warned beforehand and smuggled large portions of his inventory hidden in coal sacks out of the store to preserve them.
